  1. I used to love the pulled pork sandwich! Only thing is, it hasn’t been the same since the coleslaw got stuck inside the sandwich rather than being on the side and without the good ol’ onion rings. Pretty please bring back the old style! :)

    • Oh Olivia! We are sorry! but like with all good things, they must end, no? We made new fans when we started with the slaw right in it as it gave it that good crunch- and it is a more southern style of serving it. The onion rings- agreed, were good!- but also a bit of an issue as far as prep went as we hand battered (and big thing for us…people wanting sides of onion rings because they were so good- just couldn’t keep up!). The slaw change was when? A year ago November, and as we are ready to talk about our next menu (hopefully November this year), I will mention it to Chef and see what he thinks! Either way- onion ring or slaw- it is a tasty tasty sandwich (in fact, we just had a request to have the pulled pork at a guest’s wedding). Keep on stopping by- and leaving feedback!

  2. orderiing for tonight for the london lesbian film festival reservation: one grilled rainbow trout for Donnafaye Milton

    • Some confusion. We have a limited menu as choices for the evening, which you may order once you arrive. Sarah and Teri have the menus.

  5. Good food. If you’re ordering out (not sure about ordering in?) , don’t order the sweet potato fries. They charge around $6 and you get about 15 fries. You get a lot more with a meal. Go very sparingly on fries is a good way to never get me to return, and I live right across the street.

    • Thanks for bringing this to my attention James. I sought out the answer to your problem and we are trying to rectify it. I will post pictures in our media gallery to show you what we have come up with.

Fifteen fries is equal to 2oz, we usually put about 8oz in our take out container, saving room in the container only for the house made aioli. Sweet potatoes run 5.75 plus tax at The Mo, and 8oz is the same portion ordering in or out. Sweet potatoes are somewhat expensive, which is why you will see some restaurants charging up to $2 extra on the side of your burger (as an example)- our extra cost for a side in 75c. Our sweet potatoes run us about 20c per ounce, plus the great aioli dip, plus the costs associated with the product (especially when it is take out- containers, bags, utensils, napkins etc)…I would think that $5.75 is quite reasonable- especially as good as they are.

So, back to the issue…spoke the the kitchen staff, showed them what 15 fries looked like, showed them what 8oz looks like (they were actually a little put off that I could think that they would put 2oz in a take out!), so be rest assured, they will never short an order again!
